Qualified member of the Body Control Pilates Association. Mary has been practising Pilates since 1998, and teaching since April 2001.
Belonging to the Body Control Pilates Association, Europe’s leading professional body for Pilates teachers, working to a strict code of practice governing teaching standards and professional ethics, Mary has undergone lengthy and rigorous training to become the first permanently based instructor in Folkestone, Kent.

Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, targeting deep postural muscles with slow controlled exercises. Body posture improves by bringing it into correct alignment, balancing strength and flexibility whilst relieving stress and tension. A complementary form of aftercare to Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and Osteopaths, local hospitals and clinics have referred clients to Folkestone Pilates.
Mary is a Level 3 Pilates Teacher with the Register of Exercise Professionals and has diplomas in Anatomy & Physiology, Swedish Massage and Aromatherapy
